Organisation Description

DACT, an abbreviation for Divine Act Charitable Trust and is registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). Since the formation of the organization, has established good rapport with other development partners and project beneficiaries. It has been collaborated with other members of Child Protection Network (CPN), National Council of Child Right Advocacy, Nigeria (NACCRAN), International Children Palliative Care Network (ICPCN), Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC) and other development organization. It has also used civic education and advocacy in promoting care and support for the vulnerable populaces, and increasing knowledge in sustainable environmental both in the rural and urban communities in Sub-Sahara Africa. The organization undertakes especially relief and remedial measures aimed at reducing vulnerability to disease, hunger and other poverty and health related situations. This is achieved through constant surveillance, capacity strengthening on disease prevention and poverty alleviation, supporting social systems that anchor peace and promoting environmental stewardship.
